Presenting four handcrafted sculptural towers created for La Garçonne in New York. Composed of an ever growing vocabulary of woven shapes, this project is a testimony to the art of 3D weaving where the most simple material, wild straw, is magnified into sinuous surfaces. Based in Marseille, Inès Bressand works with artisanal basket weavers in Ghana, to create forms to carry and observe.

These lights are prototypes made by metal craftsmen from Mabeo furniture in Botswana. Looking like large paper cut-outs, their elementary lines give the lamp its essence. The box-like shapes are both the structural support and a reflector of light from a simple light bulb. The long electrical rope is an anchor. The three boxes' lights can be hung on the wall or displayed on the floor. These shapes/objects are made of reclaimed galvanised metal folded by the hands of hammer experts.
